Synchronizing on the Zipato Controller

There are a total of 3 sync points you need to be aware of.  One sync does not do it all.

During install and programming, you will be using all 3.  After that, typically syncs would only be needed on the app(s).

When using the Web Interface:

You have a sync point on the LEFT for whenever you add, remove, or configure a device (any changes on the left side)

You have a sync point on the RIGHT any rules you add, remove, or revise a rule (any changes on the right side)

A good habit would be to sync on both sides whenever using the web interface.

On the App:

Note: The hardware of the Zipatile and the Zipato app running on it do not automatically sync.  So, after any changes done elsewhere (web or remote app), you will need to sync the Zipato app on the Zipatile as well.

The app (on the Zipatile or the phone) has a Sync point in the MENU.  This syncs the app to the "box" ( hardware of the tablet/box).  This would be used whenever a change is made either from the web or from an app running on another device.

The user will use this sync to update the settings and readings on the app.
